A utility to help Emailchemy process extremely large files. [screenshot] [FAQ] Version: 1.1.3 Purchase: FREE |
Emailchemy Memory Boost is a tool for giving Emailchemy more working memory. Emailchemy is distributed with a limit on how much of your computer's memory it can use, and this limit is high enough for most usage without getting in the way of the other things your computer needs memory for. However, if you have very large email files of certain types, Emailchemy will need more memory than we distribute it with.
Do I need to use it?
For most people, the answer is no. But, if you have email files larger than 1 Gigabyte or you have a lot of really big attachments (each 20 MB or larger), you may want to give Emailchemy some more memory to help it run faster.
If Emailchemy is running very slow, say only a few messages a second, you should use this tool to boost Emailchemy's memory setting up a notch.
If you are using Emailchemy's Google Apps Uploader, you need to use this tool to give Emailchemy at least 512MB of application memory.
