Emailchemy 14.0.4 fixes the issue some users were seeing in Outlook PST files created by Emailchemy, where email addresses with non-English characters (like Cyrillic) were displaying as question marks (“???????”) when viewed in Windows Outlook. Interestingly, Mac Outlook was not affected when viewing the same PST files.

This update also adds a minor feature to recognize and ignore the byte order mark (BOM) bytes that some Windows text editors (like Notepad) will add to EML files. This would only affect users who open EML files in Notepad to view or edit them prior to converting them with Emailchemy.
